Did UPS reach 150?

Back in Late Summer, UPS said they were going to Hire 150 by he end of the year. Well, it's now mid-dec, so what is the final tally for the year? Just wondering how close they got.

And has anyone heard of the numbers for 2007? I have two friends swimming right now. Thanks-

No idea...

I think UPS has changed its computer resume filter a bit lately, putting a premium on those applicants with widebody international experience.

I've also noticed a trend away from all new-hires having multiple recommendations. Some getting hired have had none.

So if you don't mind commuting to ANC and currently fly widebodies, throw in an app and you might get a call in 2007. Even if you don't know anyone at UPS.

Is there any good way to make your app stand-out that you are interested in ANC?

FD, is this filter just looking at the uploaded resume since I am not seeing a place on the app indicating international experience?
