What a shocker. Gunter finds nothing to be cheerful about here.

Congrats anyway UPS bros. You've earned some good news.

I hate defending UPS but it's an entirely different airline, culture, and industry.

Let me guess --- You were one of the ones saying there would not be a furlough. That advice proved to be costly for some.

Scott Davis' culture is to furlough to increase the profit margin, not protect the company from financial hardship. THAT culture has no problem executing a round of layoffs to increase management bonuses.

How about the pilot culture? How many of you flew extra with brothers and sisters on the street?

Flying extra? Only a handful of our group chose that route Debbie.

Forgive him, he's representing a pilot group that stumbles over each other to pick up a disputed pairing.

Good news, never forget.

Gunter, while you may believe you're just being rational and realistic, in reality you're coming off as a pr1ck. Just leave it alone and bask in the knowledge that you're smarter and more cynical than everyone.

We are next, you arrogant ####. FDX is all about increasing margin and if they have to 4a2b or furlough, sux to be you.

We have no unity, unlike the IPA. We will still be open time and draft *****s and guys like you will still continue to be company men.

Under 20 guys out of 2600 over almost 4 years violated the JA/OT ban. Name another group with a better record than that. The furloughees are also coming back to near industry leading pay after the IPA took care of COBRA for that entire time to anyone who needed it. The company couldn't have unified us any better for contract negotiations. The company blows in how it treats all it's hourlies, but i'll take the IPA culture over anyone. BTW, management has some openings here you might be interested in.
