Default UPS Furlough (Part III)

Here is a thread to discuss issues pertaining to UPS furloughs. Like the previous two, it will be deleted / closed / edited when posts do not meet the basic terms of service of the forum.

I get it that folks are upset. However, personal attacks, flamebait, general childish behavior, profanity (even mispelled / disguised) are not the answer.

Debate the issues.

Thanks,

Tony

[edit: delete quote]

I'm still unable to figure out which one of the Backcourse Boys Gumbie is...

Using initials has long been acceptable here, in so much as I've never seen one of the famous APC lockdowns when they were used.

So...

Let the speculation (with supportive anecdotal evidence) on who Gumbie is begin with not-so-reckless abandon so there isn't UPS Furlough Part 4.

If it gets locked down for that (considering the past acceptable use of initials in hundreds of posts here), then perhaps UPS has some pull here.

Clear prop!

I can'nt beleive it! I stepped away for a moment and Part II was closed. I really feel for JUP, these were his threads and they were ruined by childish behavior.

Going foward I need everyone to act like a professional so we can have a serious discussion on a very serious matter.

Hey Gumbie,

I would love to hear your take of the recent incident of a UPS pilot's passport being stolen from a locked case in his room in China. He was standed there for 9 days and UPS is refusing to pay him, forced him to find his own way home, and is blaming him for "losing" his passport. Why haven't you or other FQS's fixed this situation? Or is it his fault?

Would love to hear your opinion.

You've got to stop running with every rumor you hear Seinfeld. You know good and well we would'nt do that to one of our own! Now lets talk about something productive.

With the economy turning around, its just a matter of time before our comrades are recalled from furlough. Lets try and expidite this by turning in sales leads and growing the buisness. More volume equals JOBS! You can all make a difference by turning in sales leads and growing OUR buisness!!

Amen, our efforts in the past fielded nothing. We can't even get a discount to use our own service.

Frustrating.
