Hired without?
Any newhire or seasoned UPS pilot out there ever get hired without a pilot recommendation lately? Been trying to make a contact within but with no luck. Do not know or able to stay in touch with any jumpseats I've had in the past from Big Brown. Trying to make the jump back to cargo and leave the Red Tail behind and start over. Do you think I have a chance without one? It sure does feel like a uphill battle with no light at the end of the flightpath. Thanks for your insight in advance. ATPF

I submitted my apps and four weeks later got a call for an interview. No Rec's didn't know anyone in the company. Went out to Louisville and thought I had a 50/50 shot when I left. I received a pool letter the other day. So what I am saying is YES you can get in. There is hope brother keep the faith!

They called me thirty days after I applied and I don't have any heavy time and when they called for my interview my letters of rec had not been sent in yet.
I do however have a bunch 4800 pic jet as well as years as a check airman.....
