OK, that really isn't the question. You've been coy with answering this question. Real question is are you on the scab list?

Clarify the Scab list question, please. Did you Scab? And if so, which airline & year?

Remember, this started with you asking me about a jumpseat as a UPS Capt. So in that situation I would know your name and if you are on the scab list.

Just to clarify!

Your name (whatever it is) is NOT on the Scab List?

The hundreds of non union pilots are captains in name only at UPS. A mgt captain has no real authority in anything much less the operation of a airplane. I would be stunned to learn if one has EVER made a decision concerning the safe operation of a flight that cost UPS money against the wishes of the company. Career over!

These men and women have taken jobs whose sole purpose is to be used as a hammer against the pilot profession. The early ranks where filled with scabs. The latter ranks are filled by the most junior on propriety and new hires desperate for illusion of power. They HAVE and WILL cross any picket line they are told too.

I can not think of one UPS captain that went over the subordinate official pilot position in 20 years. What company cannot get its most qualified employees to take a position of a " captain" ?

Who is he? I don't know or care, but he seems to be quite satisfied with getting people riled.
He's a sociopath that needs to be ignored.
If your not on "the list" why does everyone at UPS, some who do know who you are, say you are?

Wow...

First you say you are Von Reichert, then you say you are not Von Reichert. But in both cases you are retired ups nurp.

Now does anyone wonder why no one trusts the nurps at ups???...they are predisposed to lying and obfuscation. They have no true friends.

As to your question about ups scabs on the jumpseat, if you were riding as an 8 on my flight, your ass would be on the curb. The fact that a scab would expect jumpseat courtesy unless on company business is ludicrous.

Now the question is..who are you really? Pet Rock?

If I were a Captain at UPS and one of you c-suckers asked for a ride, I'd say "Welcome Aboard." Then I'd treat you like the Captain I first flew with, when I was hired at UPS in early 1989.

I was the F/E on a DC-8 going from SDF to ONT, on this particular flight. I got out to do my walkaround and cockpit prep and found a guy sitting in the jumpseat in the cockpit. I introduced myself to him and asked his name, to which he replied, "I'm a management pilot." I didn't say anything else, because I really was so new I didn't understand the implication of his statement. When the rest of the crew arrived, I told the Captain that the J/S'er was a "management pilot." The Captain introduced himself and asked for the J/S'er's ID, then told the guy he could ride in the back.

A long protracted argument ensued and only stopped when the duty officer, who the F/O had called for, came out to the jet. The J/S'er rode in the back, or the Captain wouldn't have flown the flight. After I closed the door, and was sitting down in my seat, the Captain turned to me and said: "make it cold back there." It was so cold back there that you could have hung meat, but the J/S'er never came up to the flight deck to complain. When we landed in Ontario, it must have been close to minus 15 degrees back there, and watching the guy deplane, I thought he'd fall over and pass out from hypothermia. A good laugh was had by all, and the Captain bought dinner for us that night.

That's how I'd treat you clowns.
