Good afternoon,
Any legacy ASA guys hired here recently, I saw what looked like four hires from 2017 from ExpressJet, but no breakdown on which side of the house.
Thanks

There are a whole lot more than four here. It seems like every flight I have at least one FO from ExpressJet. With networking you should find someone you know.

I've been out of cockpit (A320) for 2 years due to knee injury (1 year) and helped consult a start up airline in Asia. Did recurrent sim every year. 9000 hrs TT, 3000 TPIC. Now fully recovered and wanting to get back to line flying. Do you think I have a shot with Kalitta not being current and taking such long time off as active pilot?

I think that they would want to see currency in the 121 world.

They don't charge to apply like in the bad old days. You've got nothing to lose by applying. If they call and you are really worried about it do one of those interview prep courses that includes some kind of simulator. In reality a few hours on Microsoft flight simulator at home would probably be enough with your background.

I was hired at K4 in 2010 after not having flown for almost 2 1/2 years.

With current competition for pilots you should be good.

You gotta' play to win....

Thank you for the input and advice. I was at U.S Regional for 7 years prior to flying overseas and I've been fortunate to get some interest from most regionals. Hoping not take that route again. I like the 15/13 schedule at Kalitta and home basing. I've been on commuting contract for years and seems to work best for me and family. Thanks again folks.
