When did they change which months are 5 week bid months for 2015? They seem to have changed it after I submitted my vacation bid pass 2.
The number of weeks in a month is one of the biggest things I look at after pass 1. I would have bid differently knowing the months were changing.
Anyone know someone that knows someone who knows if they are planning to fix this?

FedEx operates on a business day schedule. The number of business weeks in a month vary depending on where the weekends fall. In other words, it's a calendar thing.
There's 365 days per year and only 7 days per week. Divide those and you get 52.142 which is exactly 52 weeks and one day. So the calendar slowly shifts year to year.

Matty agree. It changed before round 2 closed. I had printed the round 2 slots when it opened. Several days before round 2 closed I noticed 4 of the months changed and tweaked my bid. Of course no fcif. Grievance?

This just goes to show you the "Bid what you want to fly" crap is just that.
they should redo the bid. But they won't. Just like seat bids that result in training dates being slipped 3 months.
How about, "Let us bid for something realistically published"

This is probably their scheduled "quarterly screw with the pilots" management technique (notice that I didn't say "leadership") ... "Show them who the boss is!"
Now that we're in contract negotiations it's been scheduled monthly in order to distract ALPA from more important things. It's part of their plan to delay agreeing on a TA and increases their Management bonuses
It's part of the reason that we're still a BILLION dollars and a year away from having a contract.
It's likely been done on purpose just to screw with us?
