Default FedEx - New Uniforms

Looks like it's official. New uniforms for everyone! Merry Christmas!

Changes to Uniform Items
In an effort to establish a more consistent and uniform look amongst our flight crews, we have reduced the number of optional outer garments and made a few other minor adjustments to the program. We are working through the business end of a newly designed Parka with our new uniform vendor and will keep you updated on our progress.

Shirts available in tapered and regular sizes from M and H (own brand and Van Huesen)
Improved jacket and pants blend and durability
Maternity pants and shirts available
Lo rise pant option for women
Leather jackets and raincoats can no longer be ordered. Those pilots who currently own a leather jacket can wear them through May 31, 2016.
New wool coat
Scarfs available
Button down sweater eliminated, sweater vest and long sleeve V neck available.

I hope the low rise pants come with bell-bottoms.

I wonder how that wool coat takes the rain. Anything about a Co. umbrella?

I don't even know what low rise pants are, but the leather jacket just became my single issue for the new contract.

My favorite part: We have been collaborating with the ALPA Uniform Committee from the beginning of this project.
My union dues well spent.....make changes to the two best parts of the uniform. Get rid of the leather jacket and change the parka. Perfect!!! Thanks Uniform Committee!!!

I hope you're being facetious.

The leather jacket was a lure for the first contract. Ratify the contract, we'll give you your profit sharing and talk about getting you a leather jacket.

Now they'll take it away by fiat, and make us pay to get it back?

We ARE smarter than that, aren't we?

Are we?
