Hey guys,

I was unsuccessful in my interview in Sep 2006. They told me I could re-apply in 2007, and I waited until yesterday to start my new 2007 app when I finally saw the flight officer job on the web, and finished it today (I also noted that there is no longer a Flight Officer job available on the website today).

BUT...as SOON as I finished all catagories of the application, a message flashed up that said something to the effect of "we have reviewed your background, and in light of all the applicants on file, there is nothing further for you to do on your file...thanks for your continued interest in UPS." No opportunities to edit like the first time...it was just closed out!

And now I'm right back to being locked out of the system. I suppose you really just get your one shot at UPS, and that's it? Any other second chance folks out there have this same result?

Hey I just looked at my app, still there, listed as active, but under the second officer job description. I originally filled it out Oct 26 and updated it just last night, just checked it now and yes the updates took. They did not have any pilot positions listed under air operations to apply to....so now what? I guess I'm ok??

Holy cow. Seems like UPS needs to unscrew their app process. Aren't they wanting to hire big time over the next couple of years? They're not making it very easy. Maybe that's by design...?

Mine's also still showing as active for Second Officer. Still updateable.

I did the new First Officer App and the flight addendum was different, it asked for no military conversion.

Now that I finished filling it out I have 2 apps under my "Job Inquiries"-1 filled in 2006 listed as Active; the other filled out in 2007 is listed as On File. I can update the 2006 app but the new one brings a message that says no further attention required at this time. Keeping the hope alive!!

Just went to look for it again and it is no longer there. It was under professional opportunities: air operations yesterday when I re-filled it out.

My second officer app (completed in 2006)is still active and accessible for updates. I just updated today. We really do need some clarification from someone on the inside on wether we need to search for that elusive flight officer app or if continuing to update the second officer app is good enough.

Please someone help us all!!
