Attack me all you want.
The truth is THEY TOOK DOWN THE ARTICLE. That is what you should be upset about. Not my quick texting skill.

So to make you happy:

We saved them a bazillion bucks in fuel. Do we get a penny? A contract. The mgmt smiles in the mirror with their fuel sense trophy and bonus.
Then when the found out they messed up. Like fascists they censored the propaganda.

My typing may be bad who cares. Unless your agenda is that of management discredit the author,
distract from the truth.

You are right I shouldn't fly airplanes. I should sit at a desk like you do.

Maybe you should refrain from texting on a tiny keyboard; it doesn't become you.

(The "article" (blog post) is still on the corporate website.)

"my tolerance for heat and cold has definitely changed over the last couple years. I must be getting old."... a few posts back

Read your FOM near page 2-24 "when environmental conditions require." start the APU.

Tony by now with 3000 posts every one knows your are angry. I forget you got kicked out of your union job? You can't get paid for not flying? Most of us don't read your ranting.

Argue the content or Identify your motive. The average line pilot gets the difference between attacking me or my point. How do stand on the points.

We saved them $. They censored PFC.com. Still no contract. No $ for us.

Again, your answer is more attacks! I'm not trying to discredit anyone. A couple of us commented on your original post that took some deciphering to figure out and you came back with attacks. I'm sorry you can't handle a little criticism.

Fact: Yes the company has made big $$$ in fuel sense. It has not changed how I fly the jet or when I start or do not start all the engines and the APU or how much fuel I add or don"t add.

Fact: The article was not taken down - it was just moved off the main page. You can still read it if you want to go look for it!

Fact: There is a difference between poor typing skills and typing something that resembles being typed in a drunken stupor!

Fact: I do not sit at a desk - I'm just a lowly line pilot that usually proofreads my typing before I hit submit! If someone points out a mistake I usually try to correct it instead of attacking that person or persons.

Fact: I want a contract just like everyone else.

Fact: I'm done here and hope you are not like this in the cockpit!

Shack, Bingo MOVED is correct political terminology thank you comrade.

Yet you still discredit the author and not the point "drunken stupor!"
I will get drunk and smoke a cigar when we get and industry leading deserved contract with retro$ and no PBS no change to retirement etc. I suspect I should move to Utah. no booze in sight

You ll see me in the cockpit you'll sit next to me in the right seat.

Who gives a crap about typos or spelling errors? It doesn't take a huge leap to see the point. Most of us have the capability to connect the dots, and the point is valid.

From the Urban Dictionary:

Grammar Nazi

Someone who believes it's their duty to attempt to correct any grammar and/or spelling mistakes they observe. Usually found hanging around Irc chatrooms hounding "n00bs".

Dang boys, relax. I think you are on the same side; want a new contract, wished we were acknowledged for our fuel saving efforts, etc, etc.

You couldn't be any further off base. I'll match my record of fiscal frugality against anyone's. Some people bid to conflict their schedules with MEC responsibilities, and they earned every penny of Flight Pay Loss they received. I bid around the same events and did union work on days off.

If you're going to attack me, you'll have to look for something with more substance and actual facts. This little spear just makes you look even more ridiculous than you were already looking.

I'm glad you did, though.

On the points ...

We saved The Company millions of dollars. Nobody has argued against that point.

Still no contract. Same.

No money for us. Same.

They moved the blog post. No, that's not correct. The blog post is exactly where it was before. What has changed is the home page of pilot.fedex.com. The middle portion of that page has several "teases" to articles located elsewhere. They show a title, indicate an author or a source, and usually show the first sentence or so. You cannot read the entire article on the home page; you have to click, and browse to the native location of the article to read the entire piece.

A nice feature of this setup is that as more current articles are linked, older ones drop off the bottom so that only the newest ones are shown on the home page. Today, there's a link to the 2nd Practice bid -- the link to the 1st practice is gone. Conspiracy?!? Of course not. Soon after the posting closes, there won't even be a link on the home page to the Final Bid results.

So, on this count, you're excited about nothing, and your suspicions are misplaced. You might as well be preaching about the hazards of chemtrails.

That's not likely to happen.
