Default UPS 2nd year F/O pay?

What can one expect for second year pay with your new contract? Close to guarantee, a bit more, or a lot more? Thanks, any and all.

100000$ on base of grnte, you can work more and make more and that figure is not including perdium or premium. Hope that helps.

If one lives in domicile and chooses to JA and pick up open time, 140K is attainable. Factor about $900-1000 placed into your B plan every month as well just based on guarantee.

Anyone have any info about those who were given a second shot. What was the shortest time somebody got a call back and what would it take? I have heard that they have only hired a few on the second try in the last few years. Is there any hope for all of us who were shot down? Thanks.

If you were hired today, your 2nd year would be at $111.75/hour which, at 75 hours a month, and 13 pay periods equals $108,956.

Your 3rd year, based on the new contract, would be at $124.20/hour which, using the above, equals $121,095.

4th year at $137.85 = $134,404. All base figures on guarantee...

Thanks for the responses. It's nice to know you can make up for that first year almost-welfare income come Year 2.

140k would be a stretch, but i think you could make an extra 25% if you ignore your life for the year.

Yeah. Working a total of 8 days a month is a killer.

Yeah, but you are talking about someone living in domicile and bidding reserve. I HATE reserve. Even if I lived in base, I hate reserve.

L'il J. - Not all fleets are being used like that...some do get worked much harder than the 72 on reserve. And I agree that you can pick up some extra with living in domicile but I think 140K for 2nd yr will be a bit of a stretch.
