Crew of UPS 104 22July
#11
This crew really saved our (reach 2506) butts this morning when we lost our navigation/GPS capabilities halfway to Japan on R220. We were right behind them on TCAS and they essentially monitored and vectored us to stay on course until we got radar contact. Thanks guys. While I doubt we will ever meet on the road for the beers we owe you, if you read this and have a favorite charity, we owe them one! Thanks again.

If you were ever on the fence about getting an iPad and a $100 GPS receiver, this event should put those lingering doubts to mind. Every time I flew across the pond I made sure those two items were in my flight bag, "just in case".
