Well everyone probably knows that Amazon was the first company to be authorized to fly commercial drones, but what you don't know is that they are flying two B-767's and within the next two years are planning to be the world's' largest overnight parcel delivery service. Yes that includes FedEx and UPS. I know this to be a FACT not a rumor. I work for them .
The only way they could become "the world's' largest overnight parcel delivery service" would be to buy DHL (the current largest overnight delivery service). Just over 4.5 months to go until that 2 year deadline. |

Rumor going around is that Amazon will buy Atlas and ATI by October. How does that fit into tha OP's statement?

If the "rumor going around" ends up being true...it'd still fit WELL short of OP's grandiose claim. |
Rumors are like ass holes .....

Rumor going around says Amazon wants to have 400 aircraft.

Note: On 17 March 2017, Amazon told Cargo Facts: “There is no truth to either of these rumors.” Only time will tell if Amazon brings Prime Air in-house, and if they do, how quickly and how large their total airframe number grows... |
