Talking crash pad around MEM

Hey guys. I was recently was hired by Fedex as a professional instructor and I'm in the process of looking for a crash pad/room for rent. I start class on April 15 and will be coming out there on April 12. I plan on buying a house in the near future, but for the mean time I'll need a place to stay.

If anyone has crash pad phone numbers or ideas i'd really appreciate it.

On the second floor breakroom of Module D there are several flyers for crash pads. I know that doesn't help right now since you aren't here......

That's a great start. I'll be there in a few days. Thanks.

I would try and stay OUT of Memphis.... Olive Branch, Hernando, Nesbit, the south side of Horn Lake, and Germantown are a bit more safe and clean.

How is the availability? Pretty easy to find one or all pretty full?

Easy. Price is another thing. Figure $200 for shared and up. Higher for single room. Collierville and Germantown are safe. Horn Lake and Southaven are safe. If you are not sure where it is safe, ask around.

In the AOC, there are also crashpad listings in the new "locker" area on the back side of the bins, out of sight so you have to look for them.

Best place is break rooms in Module D, in the MD-11 wing. I am not sure if there are any in the "new" wing.

Holy crap, Martin. That is hilarious. Unfortunately, spot on accurate - but hilarious just the same. Kudos.

I think "The mall where you will get killed" has been torn down.

I remember going there once when I was a new hire, around the late 90's.

I decided I'd better not go back.

I think they tore it down in the early 2000's.

The rest of the map is really accurate, sad, and hilarious, all at the same time.
