The Atlas crews are more than supportive of ABX. 1224 is watching every schedule like a hawk and any line cross receives the real "S" name, not the fake watered down version many on here like to throw around.

No Atlas/Polar aircraft have departed CVG today. There are a lot of crews that went to the airport, saw the picket line, took pics for proof, and returned to their hotels. CVG is quiet this morning...

I just stopped by the ABX picket line in CVG. What I saw were multiple local news trucks and about 25 or 30 ABX pilots taking shifts walking the line.

I also eyeballed the flight line from the road and I did not notice a single airplane with its position lights on. The ramp at CVG is full of holiday rush airplanes and freight and as best as I can tell not a single airplane is moving.

Even looks like the Canadians and the Germans went back to their hotels also. I don't think they are moving either.

Good job teamsters, ABX, Atlas, Southern, Polar and Kalitta.

Amazing to see what real unity looks like. A very big [B]Thank You[B/] to the Atlas, Kalitta, Southern, Polar crews and any others for not crossing the line.

As far as ATI goes, does this not embarrass ALPA one bit that ATI continues to fly? I would be completely ashamed if I were on an ALPA property right about now.

I gotta say I am impressed as well. I was 8 years at an ALPA carrier. Never did this kind of unity exist. Hold the line!

Unfortunatly the brothers and sisters at ATI are unable to respond on this board to everyone's inquiry as they are out operating a/c for DHL and Amazon. I'm certain the regular's will be responding (or at least reading/lurking) as day one goes on. What excuses they will provide...., they may say this is a 1224 thing only (which it's not); you can be the judge of that.

As already mentioned, to the support, unity, and brotherhood from other pilot groups, specifically those not in the 'ATSG family' is very appreciated. You can be assured when your group in at the same juncture, the pilots of ABX Air will be there for you.

Today is marked as a banner day for IBT 1224, one that will demonstrate the power and determination of organized labor. Only marred by one ALPA (not all of ALPA) blacked-eyed carrier. I hope that better decisions can still be made by ATI over the next day whereby they too can be seen as a part of the effort by all.

Thank you my union brothers at Atlas, Southern and Kallita for parking your airplanes!
Just to be clear, Atlas crews cannot be required to cross a picket line which, from what I understand only exist at CVG and ILN, so they would still have to operate at other stations such as ABE, ONT, etc.

Let's say, for instance, that Atlas picks up a flight out of a city they never flew before today and it's obviously our route, Atlas would have to fly it? That would be flying struck work, no?

Irregardless, this much unity is better than none.

Has the MEC put out a definition of struck work? It sounds like the strike is against ABX, not Amazon or DHL. If so, flying for Amazon or DHL (as long as the revenue did not end up at ABX) might actually help the cause.

If they haven't already done so the union really needs to formally define struck work.
