Yes, we pay during training. Don't remember exactly, but I think you transition to full first year pay after you're finished in the sim. Of course, per diem and hotel is provided as well.
Section K. New Hire Pay A newly hired Crewmember who receives training prior to his qualification as a Crewmember will be paid a minimum of One Thousand two hundred dollars ($1,200.00) per month while in training. This sum shall include all compensation while in training except that such newly hired Crewmember will be covered by the provisions of Article 4, Per Diem, when such Crewmember is assigned to training at a location other than a Company Base. Upon qualification as a Crewmember the Crewmember will be compensated in accordance with Section B of this Article
