Yes, we pay during training. Don't remember exactly, but I think you transition to full first year pay after you're finished in the sim. Of course, per diem and hotel is provided as well.

Section K. New Hire Pay
A newly hired Crewmember who receives training prior to his qualification as a Crewmember will be paid a minimum of One Thousand two hundred dollars ($1,200.00) per month while in training. This sum shall include all compensation while in training except that such newly hired Crewmember will be covered by the provisions of Article 4, Per Diem, when such Crewmember is assigned to training at a location other than a Company Base. Upon qualification as a Crewmember the Crewmember will be compensated in accordance with Section B of this Article

Now a little Boeing humor: the B727-100 is a three holer, and the -200 is a four holer. Know why??? Incindentally, you seem very angry about something. (TOS Deleted)

OH I was way off. After 23 years in the Navy and many trips to the PI three holer means something WWWAAAAYYY different there.

Quick question,
With the military being pulled out from overseas, what effect will that have on World? Thanks so much.

Lots of business initially as the drawdown is underway. However; the US military mission in Iraq is being terminated/reduced, not all US forces overseas. The US still has hundreds of overseas locations with thousands of troops which will still need the services of civilian carriers like world.
