There are alot of senior guys who have 65 creeping up on them (about 15) which when you only have about 90 pilots is a decent amount of movement, but there is also no growth at the moment.

take everything in this industry with a grain of salt, things change by the minute in aviation. It is a great adventure if you decide to pursue it.

It would be nice to get out of Alaska and be based down south. I have almost 3 years at a 121 outfit and a few hundred multi turbine PIC hrs. Do you think another ground school will be put together in the next month or so?

What's wrong with Alaska? Don't you like Copper River Smoked Salmon?

Probably not during the summer months, things tend to slow down during those months. I am sure there will be a ground school in the fall. Always keep trying to submit a resume, you just never know when there might be a ground school here.

Miami= Warm weather, blue sky, oiled down *****s and plenty of Cohiba cigars to last a lifetime.

Alaska= Cold, dark in winter, toothless women who strut around like Playboy models:eek:, crazy drunk people running around with firearms, and crappy flying conditions (sometimes).

I think I'd seriously consider relocating to Miami if given the opportunity.

The bad news is that you won't be able to afford those Cohibas or oiled down *****s on what Miami Air pays you:(.

But the good new is that you'll will be able to afford the booze and toothless babes on what you can earn in Alaska. You know the old saying... go ugly early or drink'em pretty:D
