Thanks !
Try typing "maimi air interview" into google... The M key is a good place to start.

What are they looking for? I was a military pilot a few years back with TS clearance, which probably lost already. I'm interested in flying with them, any good info?
thanks

There are three of us who worked at Miami Air. We all left at different times and are now working of the same company outside the US. We compared our war stories and were not too far off as to why we decided to take our leave from Miami Air.

You will be treated like gold if your are former military. If not, you can expect to be thrown under the bus to protect one of their own. And when I say thrown under the bus, I also include that they will also include the FAA too.

The chap who taxied a 727 with the aft stairs extended in Atlanta... kept his job.

Chap who dumped fuel enroute from Panama to Miami because he took off knowing he would have landed overweight back in Miami... kept his job.

Chap who, if you can believe this, on landing the skipper managed to hit the canoe on the number two engine thrust reverser, then nicked a wing tip position light. Took a group of people up north. The F/E noticed the damage on post flight, wrote it up. Skipper protected, F/E thrown under the bus and nailed for not reporting the damage in St. Pete.

That was many years ago and perhaps the culture has changed as to how those who are less equal in the eyes are treated.

Although I do speak to some chappies still employed there and as they say, same old, same old.

On the plus, you will visit places on the planet that you will never have the opportunity if employed with a regional or even a major for that fact.

Well it's either:
a) based at home, getting the most valuable type in the world, international experience or
b) commuting and sitting reserve in JFK, having 6 days off a month, making $26/hr
