I know of who you speak. Ask him when he is coming back. That should get his temp up a bit.

Hmmm, I walked passed the Boise address today while on a layover and noticed their name was not on the door anymore....Is Xtra a shell or did they move from their previous Boise address?

No idea what the story with Xtra is. What I do know is that Sky King has just relaunched, and supposedly their aircraft is in the new re-branded XTRAIRWAYS livery. I checked Xtra's website, and it lists a fleet of 4, with one based at MIA, which I would assume is the Sky King aircraft. Not sure how many SK has flying yet, or if there is more than one flying for Xtra.
Xtra has the others based at SAT, BWI, and PIT.

Noticed on Wiki that both xtra and Sky King have "Aerline Holdings" listed as their parent companies.

Not sure what is going on on the SkyKing side but Aersale purchased the rights to SkyKing some time ago. They are currently operating one aircraft I believe. Not on a scheduled basis, mostly doing random charters and recovery flights for Xtra.

Aersale also purchased Xtra while in bankruptcy about 6 months ago. No idea what they have planned for us in the long run... However since their purchase, they have added to the fleet and are refurbishing the planes that were already on property.

We are operating for Apple Vacations out of PIT and BWI. One plane in SAT and two others bouncing around the country doing charters.

Lots of unknowns right now with the recent purchase. Previous management is still in place and not sure of the direction Aersale has us going. Aersale is well funded and extremely successful in the aircraft leasing and salvaging. We shall see if it translates to the airline business.

So I am guessing that the APC info page is bad gouge showing that Xtra was bought by peoples express. Made me wonder why Peoples would be leasing planes from Vision if they bought their own. I'd love to find something based out of PIT!

Yeah that deal fell through. There's going to be a mass exodus pretty soon so there will be plenty of openings in PIT....

Is everything moving to MIA? Three ads up on the orange site for a DO, CP, and dispatchers out of MIA.
