Thank you. Hey hoover, things seem to be getting better as you were telling us how bad it was not too long ago? That's not a dig at you but an honest assessment. Hope to see you there some day. Fingers crossed it gets better and stay that way. With the industry going the way its going hiring will stay high for some time and Xtra will have a hard time retaining people.

I'm not sure it's better rather people are getting numb and the amount of flying and therefore pay is blinding some. Ie a lot of flying. 26 days a month on the road so far.
New hires always help as it's nice to have someone who wants to be here in the cockpit.
The most senior guy quit last week. No other airline job lined up, just quit. Said he was tired of it. Another senior guy is leaving aviation he's so fed up.
I think people have accepted it is what it is while they either make peace with it or focus on another job.
In my opinion it will never be a career place but if you live in Miami and don't mind working a lot then it'll be a good fit till something new comes along.

I have some buddies of mine interviewing and accepting class dates at xtra. Any intel on the framework of the company and the how it is managed? Is this a good place to work or just another adhoc that will work you to death? How is the company backed and what is the big picture with Nick Finnazzo? Intel on days off, benefits, vacation, training etc??? Thanks for any input offered!

It's a bottom feeder supplemental. There are many other places better.
Nicks big picture: lie to everyone about how great it will be and then when it goes south no longer talk to anyone and get his goons to come in and restore order.
Benefits: uh, none.
Seriously when everyone else is hiring don't go to xtra.
