Maitland's Via Air battles corporate secrets lawsuit with Caesars - Orlando Sentinel
Caesars Entertainment sued over charter flights | Las Vegas Review-Journal

Doesn't look like they are off to a good start for anyone wanting to go. Just another shady operation.

I don't see why it would hurt their application, financial information about a competitor doesn't affect the operation itself.

Mesa did this to Aloha, except acting like they wanted to buy the company, and was sued over it by aloha after they already chapter 7'd and Aloha won. There was no FAA recourse for Mesa and they got off pretty easily in the civil suit if u ask me.

I don't think the case has anything to do with certification, the FAA doesn't care. My understanding is that ADI lost the Caesars contract because the DOT found them unfit because their owner and CEO was found guilty of fraud. I think the DOT issued an order last winter threatening to revoke all of ADI's authorities. Caesars then awarded the contract to Via who has been operating for them for a long time. Sounds like ADI is just trying to get $$ from Caesars

And ADI's CEO's fraud case that was uncovered had nothing do with its certification process at that time and still the DOT blocked it. ADI could win this case in civil court, maybe even criminal court and the FAA and DOT could block Via Air in the same manner it nearly shut ADI down....

It's a 12 month prorated contract. I would hate to **** off a new employer by posting something they wouldn't like. But let's say it is much cheaper than I expected
