don’t be lazy. Go look yourself. They are correct though. I looked in the fillings a couple times over the last 20 years. 50 seat birds are expensive. They were used to provide lots of flights and gain market share by having higher frequency.
that said the crap wages of everyone involved in making that bird fly helped offset costs and gave management lots of leverage in controlling labor costs. As regional labor cost increased the value of the program has dropped.
my gut feeling is drastic cuts in 50 seat flying and if there is no scope relief then the owned subsidies will absorb the fleet reductions in large rj to comply with scope.

The United owned subsidies don't have 76 seaters (well, XJT has 25 of them but they're going away per previous announcement and Republic has a ton of them but that's a thornier issue). Hard to remove airplanes that don't exist.

People seem to have the answer but no one can share it with me. I don't know if Im missing something or the truth is people have made stuff up. Im being genuine here....no sarcasm.
Anyone?..... Just wanna see the numbers and a reference didnt think it would be that hard.

I may have provided the wrong document. I’ve never really been the type to act like I know the numbers and predict the outcome. I fly planes. The numbers guys make the decisions. That’s not about to change. I do know one thing......just about every prediction that I’ve heard about this industry and the outcome of the regionals......has been wrong.
