Spent a little time in the Dash way back in the day, still some fun flying even if it was 120 on the flight deck pretty regularly.
It's interesting to me that the APC profile page says 660 pilots and 165 airplanes. That's a hell of a staffing ratio!

Try this link instead. These are the planes owned or operated by UA and who and where they are. CommutAir has a lot of planes on their cert so they can maintain them while they are parked since UA does not have a maint. plan on their cert. for all of the 145's that they own. Looks like UA still owns about 168 of them.

Looks like the link won't take you directly to the page so you will have to dig around to find the right page.
This is a different page that has some details also. https://sites.google.com/site/united...fleet-removals

FO IOE Update
[QUOTE=MrIncredible;3306859]Damn.
From what I’ve heard, people that took their PC’s in August now are waiting until February for the Consolidation PC and March for IOE. Not great news, especially when the company promised so much. So currently a lot longer than two months

[QUOTE=SeveereTurb;3314664]There are lots of things C5 could do better but this situation is pretty much all on United. They retired so many pilots early that now they are pulling every aviate candidate from their regionals to make up numbers. Most of the C5 training Capt’s are in aviate and are getting classes at United.

If its all on United, then United has to do something to help get more crews into their regionals than just stand by and bleed their regionals dry. Wonder if this case of induced lack of consolidation has caused any crews that just got their types to jump ship for envoy to avoid yet another rating ride. Either that or wait it out and hope you get to IOE before your 120 days. Interestingly the FARs do say you could get a 150 day period but you would have to do refresher training which kinda makes that point useless.
121.434
Except as provided in paragraph (h) of this section, pilot in command and second in command crewmembers must each acquire at least 100 hours of line operating flight time for consolidation of knowledge and skills (including operating experience required under paragraph (c) of this section) within 120 days after the satisfactory completion of:
(1) Any part of the flight maneuvers and procedures portion of either an airline transport pilot certificate with type rating practical test or an additional type rating practical test, or
(2) A § 121.441 proficiency check.
With the exception that gets a 5 month period instead of a 4 month
(4) If the required 100 hours of line operating flight time are not completed within 120 days, the certificate holder may extend the 120-day period to no more than 150 days if -
(i) The pilot continues to meet all other applicable requirements of subpart O of this part; and
(ii) On or before the 120th day the pilot satisfactorily completes refresher training conducted by an appropriately qualified instructor or check pilot as provided in the certificate holder's approved training program, or a check pilot determines that the pilot has retained an adequate level of proficiency after observing that pilot in a supervised line operating flight.

For the 30 day extension all you need to do is a flight with a check airman, which you will be doing anyway if you're still on IOE. Not a big deal at all. Problem is if you waited months and months for IOE you still are going to have a hard time consolidating even with the extension.
