145 service starts in April, and EWR is very junior. I'm guessing 145 new hire classes won't start until the spring, but dash classes are filling up.

Just curious, don't you have to do proving runs? I don't know much about adding new aircraft but I thought that was a requirement..

For those of you considering going to Commutair I want to share my experience up to this point. I am currently a 3 year FO at XJT. For the most part a really good group of pilots with of course the required 5% douche factor but you will find that most anywhere. It is just a dead company and morale is ridiculously low. I skype interviewed with C5 HR and a senior pilot. Lasted about 20 minutes with some behavioral questions from HR and some technical questions from the pilot. Nothing out of this world and when I stumbled on one I didn't feel like it was the end of the world. EXTREMELY good people at C5!! Completely different experience than at XJT. 2 weeks later I was positive spaced to Cleveland where I filled out paper work for C5 and met with Noelle(HR--amazing person) Petra and the number 1 senior pilot at the company(Kathy--also amazing). I filled out some paperwork, finger printed and then went on to meet with the UA hiring panel. They were professional and direct. Not huge on personality but if you can imagine the literally thousands of interviews they must do. I really respected the group of 3 and to be honest was humbled at the opportunity to be sitting in front of them. They weren't out to get me at all and it was a simple conversational interview. All behavioral questions. Which in my opinion is really what it is mostly about. I am glad because I want to be surrounded by good people and I feel like they are working towards that. They said they will let me know in next 10 days if accepted into the CPP. But even if not, C5 seems to be amazing! I am happy to be going there! Jan 4th! See you there!

I guess I just figured everything ran like the STL FSDO. I mean, our CATII program has been awaiting approval since June. I can't imagine how long it would take to get authorization to operate a new type.

I was told, albeit it's rumor at this point, that network planning was evaluating an ORD base...So that'll be interesting if that materializes.
I wonder how many guys will delay their class date just to fly the 145...IMO that's such a bad idea...Giving up way too many seniority numbers.
