Great advice. I would gladly fly whatever is given to me, the "afraid " commment was just a bit of humor, although it would require a little more studying to refresh the non glass skills again.

lol, no worries. I get it.

I wasn't happy about flying a turboprop having spent the last 4 years flying a jet, but all in all I'm grateful for the experience and new type rating.

All C5 Dash's are cat III certified with Left seat HUD's and dual universal FMS. The Cat III approach is hand flown down to the dirt using the hud, the autopilot is not certified for anything other than a cat I approach. Neither are C5 crews certified for cat 2 or 3, just cat I. With "half glass" panels, (ADI, HSI moving maps) All -200 PH tails are ex horizon, and 5 CA tails -300 are same equipment exactly but came from Austria, they just have MEL (all the time) apu's and more comfy crew seats plus an extra FA jumpseat.

Congrats guys. You've only canceled 15% of your flights for crews and maintenance today so far.
