I will answer yours, but it is meant for all who responded.

Thank you for the correction(s)....I learned something as well.

My apoligies to all for the misinformation.

Something else to watch for:

An individual can only (supposed to) change the classification of the pass (changing from standby SA1P to vacation SA0V pass) up to an hour before departure. If they are changing the pass to a vacation pass within the hour to bump someone else, this is against UA policy and they could loss their pass privileges. Good luck getting that done though.

I ask because I've been denied the jumpseat for weight reasons and would like to know if that was situational or if I need to find alternate commuting options.
The XR is typically a lot less sensitive to weight and balance issues than an LR. It is a lot less likely to be weight restricted but there are situations where it can have landing weight issues with alternates on short legs.

The LR has trouble with short runways, occasionally zero fuel weight issues and landing weight issues on short legs and long legs with alternates.

Currently the weight restrictions on the XR are due more to the W&B that CommutAir uses than it is due to the plane itself.

Possibly, but using electronic weight and balance and using 20lb gate check bags still creates some of the restrictions I mentioned earlier.

When you first got the UA CPP, how soon after did people start getting the Hogan test? Asking for a friend.

Thanks all for the heads up regarding priority on our flights. I'll look at the actual ticket the next time a mismatch occurs.

Or the employee can wait and list at one hour prior to departure, thus judging the need to use a vacation pass.

If I'm non reving and see a flight operated by commutair it's safe to assume some major disruption. Why even look at loads when it's a commutair flight. Odds are it's not going to operate.

While I think you could find better use of your time and ways to voice your frustration, those first few score cards this month were pretty comical. However, there is a lot of work being done to make this place an efficient jet operator. Remember the fleet is already 50% larger and the pilot group has increased by 300% in what.. a little over a year? That is not exactly common.
