CommutAir Rumors and Info
#3881
Don't mean to be negative but the Rumor Mill was churning and I heard your final delivery numbers got slashed for the ERJ... Down to the 2x number. Heard that because the FAA and united are happy with on time and CCF Any truth to that or is that floating around there too?
I haven't heard this from anyone but you, and I'm assuming you're not here.

I bet it was "they" who said this too... I think your rumor mill is pumping out some bad info. The FAA doesn't give two ****s, and United is happy with getting what they asked for...cheap. Commutair is still so small that our numbers are not reported with the DOT.

United passengers are directly affected from the poor performance of commutair. There has been a lot of people unhappy with commutair that it hopefully will create the impetus needed to shed this partner from UAX.

The FAA is not part of the DOT for ontime issues. On time stats monitoring comes from the Bureau of Transportation Statistics branch of the DOT. The FAA is regulatory and safety oversight. In the case of commutair's future the FAA would be concerned with maintenance issues resulting in incomplete flights, return to field and other occurrences at commutair that happen way too often. So while the FAA isn't concerned about on time they are concerned with the issues on going at commutair with respect to all of the emergency declarations and various operational issues surrounding the carrier.

No one is leap frogging a system. People are playing with the cards that have been dealt. Going to C5 solely for the United CPP, however, would be very foolish. You need sound other reasons to come here.

Lambourne is just a troll that stops in from time to time. He doesn't work here and he would have no idea what is happening in our planes. Why he is angry enough at CommutAir to spread hateful lies, I don't really know...
