Looks like 26 ERJ CA spots opening in November, EWR only. Less than 10 EWR dash CAs are bidding for the ERJ. I suspect that FOs will be able to continue upgrading as dash captains hold out to build PIC time. 26 spots in one month makes me think they will go fairly junior, at least until there is a displacement.

42 pilots are supposed to start jet class in November. Looks good on paper to show to United, but we all know they have been awarding far fewer vacancies than they post. Is cancelling and delaying all these flights really better for C5/United than offering industry standard incentives and work rules? How else do we plan to find and keep pilots? People shudder when I tell them we fly through EWR and don't have a duty rig.
