Looks like 26 ERJ CA spots opening in November, EWR only. Less than 10 EWR dash CAs are bidding for the ERJ. I suspect that FOs will be able to continue upgrading as dash captains hold out to build PIC time. 26 spots in one month makes me think they will go fairly junior, at least until there is a displacement.

Class dates are two weeks apart instead of three. They must be more confident in their ability to push people through.

I’m holding out for Dulles, surely they’re going to grow the base a bit and absorb some of the IAD Dash pilots

Is that why whiskey is flying to our cities out of IAD? ORF, RIC and SAV to name a few today.

There is no room to grow at IAD.

"Our cities".

That's funny.

I meant it in the least possessive way possible. There are no new routes, and these are the routes we typically fly.

I also forgot to mention the 9 cancels today that we're covered by other carriers too...

But we're on track guys!!!!

All covered by Republic as far as I can tell. Surprising to see this many planned cancels on a Sunday, and in IAD no less. We really don't have any dash crews to cover a MDT turn? Oh well, at least the pax can enjoy a nicer airplane in the meantime. E170 first class all the way to MDT...

42 pilots are supposed to start jet class in November. Looks good on paper to show to United, but we all know they have been awarding far fewer vacancies than they post. Is cancelling and delaying all these flights really better for C5/United than offering industry standard incentives and work rules? How else do we plan to find and keep pilots? People shudder when I tell them we fly through EWR and don't have a duty rig.
