Alright guys...interviewed last Tuesday and was given a CJO. Super excited to start at Compass! Indoc set for March 8th. ATP/CTP set for late February. Started studying for the written using Sheppard Air. Per what the CA's were saying at the interviews, all bases are open. Hoping to get LAX. Looking forward to working hard and being out on the line. Any suggestions/advice from guys/gals already with Compass, fire away!

R they considering you based in MSP during training still? I thought the contract said they couldn’t base you where there are no line pilots currently based? Everyone should be getting per Diem the whole time if I read it right which will add to the check.

Per what the CA's were saying at the interviews, first day of indoc you would pick your base. I would assume that if, say awarded LAX, you'd be considered LAX based from that point. As far as perdiem goes, not sure what we would get while in MSP for training. Seniority would be based on age in your class per the CA's.

The ATP course comes with a subscription for sheppard air. Give sheppard a call and they will refund your money. Then you can spend that $80 on jimmy johns during the course.

Its done at atp jets. Four days of classroom work(power points), no homework or studying just a simple 30 question test at the end. Ask the class that is there before you about the... umm...."study guide" that is floating around. After that they will schedule your sims. There are five lessons, most people did two per day in four hour blocks but its random and subject to change. You take the written on the last day exactly one week from when you started.

How many people are we seeing on average in orientation each week?

There are usually about 6-8, 4 classes a month. Been hiring 20-30 guys a month (actual bodies in class not turning down the CJO). Shooting for 40 but hey I’ll take it.
