Heard rumors of a slide blown at the nest? Anyone hear anything?

This morning we were pulling into the alley when another crew called ops to report on the ground. I think they had a little dialogue over the radio on how the morning was going and the ops person used the word "slide" to describe some delays. (As in "we had to slide that flight back," or something like it.)

The crew replied with something like "did you say somebody blew a slide?" The ops agent didn't seem to know how to respond to that.

And knowing how things work at Compass, this evolved to a full-scale ohmygodweanotherblewaslide rumor in the last 6 hours.

Or maybe we did.

I heard it was deliberately done as soon as Bobby Lee stepped onto the plane after a taco Tuesday.
