Thank you sir.. when I was a new hire I heard a funny story where there was some "runaway flatulence" in the cockpit and one of the crew members donned the oxygen mask only to find out it had malfunctioned. So they were forced to divert. Not sure if it's a true story but it sure cracks me up thinking about it. I'm sure it's happened somewhere sometime lol.

This rumor seems to re-emerge every 6-12 months, it’s not true and if anyone tries it - ask for the Supervisory TSO or TSM and inquire why the station is not following SOP.

Well let's be honest. If you're not in uniform you could be any weirdo who has the bar code, and a government
ID, and an employee ID, and whose photo is in the system. Without the stripes and the hat nothing proves you're not a terrorist!!
