Almost Friday!

Prob cause they want the training dept to slow it down since we are all going to be furloughed soon anyways [emoji51]

For perspective the class prior to that was 2. So if my math is correct we have 3 new hires this month

Well if we do end up landing some new flying this could totally bone us down the road.

Or you’re following the ZW/Commutair/Gojet strategy- intentional vague future, induce most of the senior portion (read: expensive) of the pilot group to leave, massively short-staff the airline, announce new flying partner, and then pay 150-200% of hourly to cover flying because it’s still cheaper to do that than to hire people to sit reserve.

I’m not sure Compass ever had enough people drawing year five or six pay for that to actually matter.

And we have even fewer of them now.

the sun will rise in the west before any compass pilot ever gets more than 150% for anything

And senior pilots? you could be here like 8 years and barely make $10 more than someone who just upgraded. This ain’t Expressjet

What about vacation/401k etc?

All I’m saying is that you’d be shocked at how few pilots it takes to keep the operation going when you don’t care about their QOL... At one point ZW dipped down to like 65% of “fully staffed”.

I think supposed to ramp up October / November based on my class date information but I have asked for earlier since I am available earlier than originally thought
