Dont miss your flight. You'll be on the 'Everybody watch list'

They only call out women... MFA, another calling out sick. Coincidence??

What happens if you give two weeks notice and your last day happens to fall on your vacation? Do Delta flight benefits disappear as soon as you give your notice? I’m just trying not to get stranded in a foreign country.

Yes, and just a little added fun tidbit. They can, and do, go back through your KCM records to ensure that you were through KCM prior to your report time.

I guess KCM was down the first time you showed up for work (or you decided to undergo screening) and you had to leave sterile for some reason and used KCM the second time.

If you lax guys have any issues getting paid out vacation just tell the company you're filing a wage claim with the California department of labor. They tried to take 3 weeks from me. How did I have 3 weeks? Well I had one week involuntarily taken from me the year prior. JS wouldn't even answer the phone or return a voicemail when I tried to call him to ask why he wouldn't at least give me the week from the prior year that was taken. He sent AO to do his dirty work and hid behind AO the entire time.
They might also threaten to mark you as un-rehirible on PRIA. If they do that then call up the POI and make sure they are aware of what Compass is doing. Honestly at this point managment doesn't care as I bet they're winding the place down but don't let them screw you. PRIA is for training issues, not giving less than 2 weeks notice. Luckily the union dealt with my issue before I took it up with the DOL and FAA but not all guys get it straightened out as easily as I did. https://www.dir.ca.gov/dlse/FAQ_Vacation.htm Under California law, earned vacation time is considered wages, and vacation time is earned, or vests, as labor is performed. For example, if an employee is entitled to two weeks (10 work days) of vacation per year, after six months of work he or she will have earned five days of vacation. Vacation pay accrues (adds up) as it is earned, and cannot be forfeited, even upon termination of employment, regardless of the reason for the termination |
