At my LCC interview, one pilot on the panel solely went through my logbooks, flipping page by page (not just some cursory glance). This was happening while I was fielding questions from the HR and the other pilot on the panel.

If you are at a regional in your career ladder, logbooks are not a formality.

Anyway, what I wanted to ask was what is up with the Compass 'stache? I've had 2 CZ guys JSing to/from SEA now who looked to be in their 20s with the most pilotey mustache I've seen. :D

Do not believe a word of this nonsense. And you're in for a big surprise if you think it's "yours to lose" at the Delta interview.

Agreed, Delta is all about attention to detail. You hand everything in at the beginning of the day. They (the selection panel of 3 people) will go through your logbook and other documents for an hour before you walk in and talk to the panel. Again, the more detail the better. Consider the fact that at one point before the NW/DL merger, DL was 95% military pilots (guess who does a majority of the interviews), attention to detail is everything in the military. If you have the interview you should do everything to stand out, why give yourself a reason to not...

Except for the fact they will have zero clue that you flew N6###CZ instead of N6###CZ.

Guess I’m going to let RosterBuster do it’s best... fill in the blanks when I can.

I think it’s ridicules that IOCC can’t show the damn tail #. Oh well ....

This is all I was saying. Jesus dudes. Yes they go through the logbooks. No they can’t verify anything except addition.

Just playing devils advocate, and admittedly I want to stir the pot, but arriving 30 mins early kinda dicks over ATC because they have to juggle you around until the gate opens.

Landed 45 min early, gate open, never stopped

Downside is I probably lost 0.1 of flight time on that flight

Did the company ever announce his replacement?

Eh I called us losing the DL stuff pretty much on the head about a year ago, I’ll shoot my shot again.

Between August 20 and Sept 15th we will receive news that we will be adding 30 E175’s to our fleet, flying for the guys in the Willis Tower. This will come with a base at a hot, humid Texas airport, and maybe one more domicile in a place that rhymes with buwark. The jets unfortunately will be taken from a coMpeting regional. The jets will arrive at a pace that does not force the company to furlough, but for 6 months we will be painfully over staffed. Goodbye SEA. PHX will go too if DL is going to make us start paying for our MX space there.

- alternate theory -

The deal flops and management pushes the announcement date continually, and doesn’t admit it until they’ve dragged us along to stay staffed. I cry quietly as I update AirlineApps and tell my dog that everything is going to be okay

How is your dog handling it?
