Be careful some NK person will come in and say how it’s the equivalent of UAL/DAL/AAL/SWA, and that they are only taking top tier candidates and you should be so lucky to hear from them.

works at compass says "might lower standards and apply to NK"
That's like currently dating a 300lb straggle tooth and saying you might lower your standards and make a pass at a 8/10.
Merry Christmas guys!

So I’m gonna be the NK person to jump in on this. I am not saying NK is on the same level as the big 3 or the others, just look at the pay scale and you can clearly see this. However, quality of life is not bad, 4 day max work block and min 4 days off between work blocks, ability to drop to zero, get ur base u want right out of training etc...not bad. However, if your still stuck at cpz, have not received any bites from the other bigger airlines and are still “waiting for the great opportunity” then maybe you should apply. NK might not be DL but at least the pilot group isn’t sitting around wondering if a big opportunity is going to happen or not. NK has confirmed growth, 100 new Airbus orders just confirmed the other day, cpz does not. NK does actually sift through their candidates as not everyone gets hired, I know of 3 cpz CAs who got the TBNT
. Again, not saying NK is top tier or even on par with the big 3, however it’s not a bad place to be if ur stuck at cpz and have no nibbles from anyone else. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

To answer what you said, I’m not on reserve and have the seniority to stick around until whenever the “end” comes.

CPZ used to be a great place to be, back before they started hiring any 300lb straggle tooth that walked through the door.

What's weight have to do with someone's education, experience and skill set? Might be a great pilot. I'd rather fly with some big, happy, jolly (merry Christmas) guy than a skinny kid with a bad attitude.

You missed the reference. Go back and read a few posts back. I’m that big, happy and jolly pilot...but that wasn’t what they were referring to.
