1. Me
2. Your next block 1 rep
3. I will win the next block 1 and you will want to vote for me now so that you're not on the wrong side of history later.

So explain your platform for what our snack basket ask should be for the next CBA:

Apparently not me, because even though I'm theoretically in block 1 based on seniority, I don't make the cutoff hire date they mentioned.

Seriously, anybody know how they decided on that eligibility date?

Presumably it goes off the October list? Not sure. All of this has to go in accordance with the bylaws, though.

Default Reserve

Hey guys,

Can anyone give me some insight how current reserve is going? Finishing up training soon. How’s LAX reserves going? Are they flying much per month?

Looking forward to be out there! Thanks.

Pretty fat on reserves, I wouldn't expect to be flying that much but you'll get some flying. No idea how long you'll be on it, but there should still be a steady stream of people coming in behind you, particularly this fall attrition is going to be picking up like crazy again. The number of people I know with class dates or in pools is very high...

So apparently the only metric on staffing is whether you cancel flights or not. Sounds reasonable. Who gives a crap about quality of life.

I guess all the more reason to not pick up open time or critical pay when it's out there.

According to the pilot call yesterday, the right seat qualification is no longer required.

We're sitting around 13 pilots per plane and the RSQ sunsets at 12.5. Instructors might tell you that you still have to do it at 12th mo, just tell them no thanks.
