It seems that all 175 operators are now drowning due to sim availability. The real question is, at CPZ, is the 4+ week training backlog shrinking...or growing. I had friends in the most recent YX class sent home for 8 weeks. Lets hope this doesn't turn into yet another class date, date slip

Your guess is as good as anyone’s but I’m guessing delta will pull a lot of the west coast flying that compass does into mainline with the 220 it already sounds like they are planning on decreasing the frequency and looking to start doing most of the California shuttle flying with a 737.

You should only be coming here if you need a west coast base and upgrade... If skywest calls, go for it and plan on an upgrade out east. Nothing wrong with that if you can swing it.

I live in Vegas so west coast would be best but I’ll take what I can get. I would prefer compass over Skywest. I’ll keep reaching out to them.

Keep up the persistence it cant hurt. I was able to move my class date up an entire month early. I however, already had the CJO (from April 2018). But keep in touch with them, it works....or at least thats what I'm telling myself

That’s encouragement and I appreciate it! I was more concerned that they were filled up or not hiring. Do you happen to know if I’m wrong? I haven’t heard either way.

Just my 6 cents (I'm on captain pay now).
