Default Training status and reserve life?

Leaving for training end of the month what’s the time line for training still having three week breaks in between training? Also how’s reserve life looking in Seattle longer than 6 months?

While it's hard to predict the future, I doubt you would spend more than 2-3 months on reserve in Seattle (if that). SEA is short on FO's at the moment. Can't speak for length of training currently as each class fluctuates between 2 months and 4 months.

30 days after date of hire they are eligible for Delta. AA I believe is a little longer, and is also only available if based in LAX. The delay for AA may be simply attributed to the fact that you aren't LA based from day 1

Question about reserve with compass, how do the days off work? Can you bid a bunch of days off in a row, or do you only get a few at a time sporadically throughout the month?

You can bid for the days you want off and layer them. There are two options M (must have days off) and P (Preferred days off). Essentially if you bid All M days and PBS can't give it to you, it will go to the next layer. If you have to have 2 days off but would like an extra or two you can bid PMMP so PBS won't dump the layer if I can't give you the preferred days off but it can give you the two must have days off. You can also swap RSV days if the grid is green which I think for LAX and SEA, it generally is as of now. I have had no problem swapping days around and going from 6-7 off in a row to 9-10 days off.
