Default Upgrade time for someone with >1000 Part 121?

Strictly based on seniority, or a much quicker upgrade?

Are all FO's with enough time upgrading or is CPZ short on CA's?

Thanks.

No a lot of the 1000 hour guys hired are being bypassed. I would say to hold CA here is about 1-1.5 years.

There was a few guys that came in the last year with prior time that upgraded in less than a year. But with so many new FOs that have build their 1000hrs at CP I’m thinking V1 is right. Plane on 1-1.5yrs.

Fast either way!

Got it. Thanks guys.

As much as I'd like to fly the 175, I'm not waiting a year to upgrade.

So let me get this straight:

You've never been a 121 captain before, you've been out of flying for 18 years, but a year to upgrade and get used to the 121 world of today is too much?

Lol a year to upgrade is nothing.

If you’re looking for a DEC to fly the 175, it ain’t gonna happen anywhere.
