I’m taking the red pill. I’m here to watch the circus to the end.

Buddy at the training department confirmed that also. Much much lower numbers than expected, with the large sign on bonuses on offer elsewhere with direct to left seat can't say I am even remotely shocked CP pilots would pick other options.

CPZ pilots are probably staying put and trying not to start over somewhere else right away.

That too. It ain't over til the fat lady sings.

The training department was just expecting a bit of an influx that has not come from the sounds of things.

Can pretty much confirm just about everything said here (including the vow to Joseph Smith). For non prior CPZ they’re not even hiring into the ERJ unless you want to sit in the waitlist pool (approx 9 months for a class). For CPZ folks, they mentioned that there are 20 spots reserved for us per class @ 2 classes a month.

Basically if you’re hired you have your pick of whatever class you want, as early as Oct 22. As far as the interview, can also confirm that if you bring in a hard copy of your CPZ training records (request from our CPs) you can forgo the technical questioning which is supposedly a majority of the interview. It was so easy and quick it seemed to be more of a formality for us.

Got the call the next day with the CJO and class date of my choosing, also punted til after the new year. Nice to have as a plan B if you’re a west coast FO with only lateral options. PM for more details.
