Didn't know they were hiring. Is this hiring for next year when they get the Sim in MSP. Where did you find out about this position?

I have not heard of any instructor hiring though I know a few pilots on the line who said they are interested. The sim comes in the spring and the training dept will be moved to minneapolis then as well. I just had not heard anything formal yet about hiring IPs.

Hi!

My best pilot freind is now at Compass, via Spirit and TSA. He told me about it, then I went and found it on the Compass site.

I also heard that Compass is now hiring pilots again. Can't tell from the website, because they've always been accepting resumes.

Sounds like the position is like the ATI program at NWA....you won't actually be teaching in the simulators...just doing more of the systems, flows, ground schools, ect.

They will probably get a lot of applicants. I interviewed for a similar position at RAH - and there were over 100 candidates!

It was all ground. Recurrent, indoc, things of that nature.
The RAH position was advertised at $35,000, which I would think should be a base salary for that type of work.

I'd say $35,000-$45,000 starting sounds about right. It is nice since you can negotiate your contract a little.
