This is unfortunate. The chief pilot should be a line pilots biggest advocate (unless said pilot has screwed up royally), and even then, the CP should provide basic support and help out the pilot as he can.
Complain to to appropriate persons, so that this clown is sent back to the line (where it doesn't even sound like he belongs).

Send a company wide email include all pilots, managers, and CEO (or lack there of) and explain the situation. It will sure get the draw the ire of JK but may also get the attention of Pro-Strandards and Bill Lang. I know JK has been to resent to handeling school before at Compass with some dealings with pilots... maybe the next time will be his last.

I dont call to mess up people's easter vacations-and even though i couldnt be with my family...this wasn't purposeful. I was taught that crap doesnt flow uphill.....so yu should always go directly to the top first for results, and let it trickle down,.... if nothing happens-at least you know that the situation was bought to everyone possible!
I am so fed up with JK and his antics that I am seriously considering a move to Asia.
I have told this story to every flight attendant I have met in hopes that they will see that they need a union. They are all so gullable-believing that its better to have "direct communication" between them and the company.
Building a company with people who downed a company doesnt seem smart at all...but what do I know?I guess I'll just wokr my way up to VP of ops and then when campbell is ousted ill fill out the online app for CEO.

You know, I have worked for 3 pt135 companies, and I have dealt with the same crap from each chief pilot. Come to think of it, the only support I have ever gotten from a CP was from when I was a flight instructor! Unfortunately, it appears to me that being a smug, self serving ##### is part of the prerequisite for getting the job. I thought things were different for you 121 fellas, guess not…
