Default Compass - housing during training

I understand that Compass does not provide housing for new hires while they are in training.

What are some housing options that others have used recently, and how much $ ?

Like Endeavor!!!

Basing a big career decision on having to pay for one month of housing? Not a good idea. Plus Compass pays pretty well during training so it's not as big a deal as you'd think

Splitting hotel, renting crashpad, renting a furnished room, or just move here and set up shop. Most guys lived here in my class, and I rented a room from a pilot that was furnished. Home study will get you about 500 bucks, once back in the classroom you're on a 75/hr guarantee at first year pay which is around 25-26 bucks.

Any thought on transportation while at training. I was thinking of finding a place off a bus stop and save myself from the 14 hour drive from Dallas.

I have an extra room in my house I am interested in making available as a crash pad for someone during Compass training. I am in Mendota Heights, 10 minutes from MSP, 7 minutes from Compass training facility in Eagan. Please PM me if interested.
