Default TSA to compass?

Hey guys, a few questions about a TSA to compass jump.

Does Compass recruiting even consider pilots from TSA given that we're under the same holdings company and they most likely haven't made their money on my 145 type and training yet as i'm only a second year FO?

Is Compass recruiting done by the same people in STL that do the TSA/Gojet recruiting?

Is there anyway I can put myself on the Compass radar without alienating the same people that hired my for TSA a year ago? (in example, visit the STC while i'm there in recurrent next month and talk to the CP recuriters and tell them what i'm doing)

NOTE: THIS IS NOT A THREAD FOR ARGUEING THE MERITS OF MY CHOICE TO SWITCH, DISCUSSING ENVOY, OR ANY OTHER TYPE OF PETTY WAR PEOPLE LIKE TO START. I JUST WANT INFO ON RECRUITING.

P.S. sorry my posts are full of spelling and grammar issues. My spelling sucks and my typos many. This is an informal space, and I don't have time to fix them.

Recruiting is seperate but IIRC at one time Compass wouldn't hire across the hallway. Could be a different situation now. Might as well stay since we will be one massive clusterf....company soon anyway.

All the recruiters I have met have no affiliations with TSA or GoJet. Also, we have people at this airline that used to work for TSA. Honestly I don't think that ANY of our recruiters would hold that against you.
What they are looking for mostly is...
1-you can pass the tests which mean you most likely came very well prepared for the interview.
2-how you have applied yourself in the past with regards to college and work. (this is kind of where your college GPA comes into play)
3-the rest of the interview is mostly situational-based questions. What would you do in this scenario? Etc...

I would say that for former 121 pilots right now... if you go to the intreview and pass the tests, and it also shows during the HR interview (as well as the rest of the time you are in the building) that you genuinely want to be a pilot for compass and are excited about it..you will get the job no problem. You don't have to have a perfect answer for every question, they just want to see that you think logically and are excited about compass(ie...not taking the job at compass only out of necessity)

Good luck in your decision. About 90-95 percent of current compass pilots were in a very similar situation as yourself, asking some of the same questions.

Because apparently it's better to be at the bottom there.

To the op it's very unlikely that they would hire you but there's nothing wrong with applying, it won't hurt anybody's feelings.

In my case I will not be upgrading soon as TSA has painfully high upgrade time requirements I will not meet for two or so more years especially at the rate im flying now as we are overstaffed and reserve and buildups hardly fly. I would upgrade just as fast if not faster at compass due to the fleeet growth. If a restart is to be made, now is the time. Compass also has better planes, better pay and better quality of life after the first year. I do not have a degree and need one to go to legacy so im looking at six years at a regional anyway or perhaps more. Long term pay and quality of life is more valueable to me that a quick upgrade im not qualified for anyway. Tsa is fat on captains and fos and not upgrading right now by the way. If we dont grow, its only going to get worse.

How much time do you have? Total and 121? Roughly

As I understand it, Compass requires a degree.
