Right, my point was that the 10 hr mid day rest assignment shenanigans demonstrate that there is no real respect given to fatigue factors of such assignments. This kind of CBT seems to be more of a box check than something important to the airline. At least insofar as the scheduling supervisors tend to only go so far as to assign what is legal by the letter of the law and contractual, even if the assignment is altogether unreasonable in the purest sense of the word. Yet here we are, learning about fatigue... learning about the hazards of Christmas trees in the house, drunk driving. Yet it seems to be perfectly ok to put a guy to rest after 4 hours of AM ready served, to come back and operate a CDO.

My joke was the irony of that. I think everyone else got it. The fact that they all get the same training just deepens the hypocrisy of it all.

Then don’t come to Delta. Lots of trips where you fly an all nighter then day sleep to fly later that day.

It's more like show up rested for an all-nighter, flights cancelled, but you get reassigned to fly 10 hours later. But for mainline pay I'll let them tickle my pickle if that's what they want.

Just a heads up. Anyone with a 30 hour layover, check rainmaker. It's currently not crediting the 4hr min day pay for the overnight.
