It's closed now but when it does open you go to submit bid under the vacation tab. Once there you can see some links on the left side and one should be available vacation or something. That shows all the open time per base and position. Then you can hit submit bid and put the weeks you want and there's a drop down to put swap for vacation or something. You need to also put your current weeks and use the drop down to choose remove week for swap. Why there's not any published info about this idk.

When did you interview? If you were hired after a certain date, the test wasn’t the same...for those DPI eligible, the questions were randomized out of the pool of questions DL provided to Compass as part of the JKT. After that certain date our recruiting department picked questions out of that pool and there was no more randomness to it, this was because the test became mobile, thus not requiring interviews in MSP (not needing a computer)...a few other hiring standards were changed as well...the MMPI/Cog went away shortly there after as well
Going by class date is one thing, but dates of the interview when you then were offered or accepted a class date is something else. And the way it was announced sounded like it was based on interview date, rather than class date. I would have therefore expected a sprinkling of people who were DPI eligible after the date Compass made the change as they were some of the first to fill up some classes in the future. This eligibility list appears to be just going by class date, which is not the way it was announced on the employee call. Tough break for those affected, and hopefully the company can get those people DPI eligible.
Even though I'm "DPI eligible" myself, I'm not holding out too much hope it'll let me move on faster than those without it (seeing as people who are too junior to qualify for the DPI are already at Delta). I wonder how much having the DPI might cause those senior enough to be on it to choose to not leave for the LCC/ULCC carriers. Since almost everyone eligible for it is already a CA, I wonder if that'll slow CA attrition... If it does, it might slow upgrades a touch...

Who was it that always would say the "HAL flow would be announced this Friday"?
Ps, y'all better get used to not being able to use flaps 4 in the air. It will make your transition to the Republic way of flying the jet much easier...

In any case, RAH is buying us anyways, so none of this will matter next week right?

To me it sounds like this DPI is equal to an instant job fair. It sounds like Delta is just going to pull these apps and score them. I highly doubt that they are stopping everything and only going to score Compass DPI apps for the next year so this whole debacle sounds like some kind of effort to boost morale and maybe even quell some anger against those who were told they had a guaranteed interview.

Yeah this DPI is worthless and not a thing so don't fret if you didn't get it. There's a reason details have been light - management is just straight up lying. My sources in Atlanta are completely bewildered.

From the sounds of it on a different site, no need to worry about this. It's not a real thing unfortunately.

I'm just gonna hop the fence in Atlanta in my uniform (untucked) and be like "hi I'm here for my preferential interview, where do I sign in?"
