I for one do not feel bad for the passengers, we have very limited tools at hand being contract employees. I am hard working, but I do what I can, until I can’t do any more.

It’s not my fault mainline outsourced their product to the lowest bidders and will suffer service failures and tarnished brands as a result.

Remember who they bought their tickets from, and who orchestrated this environment.

Maybe a PA call works for OO, but I’m glad that doesn’t fly here.

I happened to be commuting home when I saw that fiasco.
Why, if compass can’t correctly schedule are they harassing employees like that? What are the circumstances? It sounds to me like chief pilots are perhaps airing personnel problems on public forums...is that even legal? To harass people on a public forum. If I was the pilots in question I’d start making claims of a hostile work environment because that’s what is being described here. It’s pretty bold to take pilot pushing to a public Internet forum.
Anyone want to dish with the real gossip??
Is compass in financial trouble...?

Not sure if you’re off your rocker or joking. Thanks for the PM claiming harassment as well. If you think that I, of all people here, might be a chief pilot, then it’s pretty clear you don’t spend much time here.

You’re welcome. I’ve heard a few stories from your former employees about the ugly degree of pilot pushing & abject harassment. I can’t see how you’re able to utilize a generally public forum to harass people? By disclosing specific information on the event how can one assume that you’re anything but a company official?

Does anyone know how to report harassment on this forum and also are company representatives permitted to utilize this forum to create a hostile and unsafe environment. Is the FAA aware of the level of harassment and bullying? If someone had pulled that in my commuter days I would not have taken that flight. I’d also be calling the FAA and department of labor.

Given the amount of information you disclosed at first you either happened to see it unfold or you are a company official. That leads to the question of how you as a company representative of a scheduled Part 121 operation are boldly taking pilot pushing and trashing of reputations of specific crews into a public forum? Do you not have more official channels to tell your employees that you aren’t pleased with their actions?

The bottom line is the only way you knew so much so soon is that you’re a company representative. Again the simple question is what does the FAA & DOL have to say about management (and their de facto representatives) taking the fight to employees in such a public and bold way?
