The same one that American Eagle voted down and in return got gutted by PSA and Compass? Let me help you with this one, most people in the regionals who say they like their union have no idea how a union works and would step all over the next guy if it worked in their favor.

Im not sure you know what your talking about when it comes to the contract in place at Compass. The contract at Compass is far superior to the contract at Eagle, and not even comparable to PSA (what a joke). Before I left Compass our contract was and still is to my knowledge one of the strongest of the B scales (regionals). Who do you work for? In fact I really cant believe you posted such a stupid comment towards the Compass pilot group.

Compass had absolutely nothing to do with the contract American Eagle voted down.

Sorry my bad ,

I meant a training contract that a new hire would have to sign before electing to to go .

Didn't mean to start a union battle. My bad

As far as I know there is no signing contract. You're not on the hook for training costs if you leave early.

The guy who posted about Compass "gutting the American Eagle CBA" is clueless. American Airlines/Eagle management is the one who controls negotiations and the AE pilots vote. Compass pilots have no hand in that.

Settle down there peepz, there was no vote for our AA flying at compass. That contract was bid for by Trans States Holdings, whom then gave it to compass, once again, we had no say in whether or not it would be our flying. Our pilot group and Union had absolutely no hand in that AA contract bid. This is the same way Skywest gets its flying, as well as almost every other regional. The only reason TSH was given the option to bid for that AA flying (along with Skywest, PSA, Mesa, and every other regional that did bid for it) is because eagle voted it down. Its not our fault AA mainline decided to open eagles flying up to the market. You want to point fingers? There are two groups responsible for that flying leaving Eaglevoy, mainly it was AA mainline looking for the cheapest possible feed, secondly, Eagle. I feel for the eagle guys, its BS what happened. They deserved a good contract, I would have voted no myself. But to say we (Compass Pilots) are responsible for it is blasphemy. Go sling mud elsewhere.

PSA voted to steal the Envoy flying and did. At Compass there was never a vote or an option. If you try to blame us you simply don't know your history. Idiotic.

I was at eagle when the no votes happened and we lost a bunch of planes. The compass anoucement actually came out of no where for me. I work at compass now after being at eagle watching my LA base close and ferrying a plane to DFW. It is really no ones fault except for the higher ups that make all the decisions. The only people I blame are the PSA people and I still don't like them even when they say they weren't there when it happened.
