What was that all about? The $ amount on that table was way lower than what I am paying now. It said something like $101.32 per month while now it's around $142. Does it mean the premiums are going down?

First time reserving the jumpseat for my commute on the DL side. Do I still gotta make a travelnet standby listing? Then just go to the gate and tell agent I'd like to check in for the jumpseat? Thanks

Check in with the gate agent so they can give you the Delta jumpseat tickets. Also it's usually a good chance to see if you actually made on to the release. I think I'm about 30% for actually making it on, though that's out of 3 times I have actually called.

If you make an actual listing, like you are non revving, they are unable to list you for the jump. So if you did list through travelnet you would have to go in and cancel it, THEN get listed for the jumpseat. So, honestly I wouldn't even bother making a listing.
As far as having dispatch put you on the release, like the other guy said, I'm about 1 in 4 for actually getting my name on there. It also tends to take a bit of time to actually explain to the gate agent what is going on. So like with travelnet, I just don't even bother.

Can't find the memo, but wasn't there a memo stating that anything we pick up (even from a crew member) will be paid at critical pay on top of guarantee??
Was gonna help out someone towards the end of the month and wanted to confirm that this flying would all go above guarantee.

I've only listed for the jumpseat on delta once or twice so I could be wrong...

I reserve it when possible just for insurance, but like your experience, it's been hit and miss as far as actually showing up on it. I always keep the confirmation email just in case. What I wonder is if you don't show up, but you made the reservation and it's confirmed via email, and someone senior to you shows up, do you still take precedence? If you're on the release you're golden of course, but if not, does the email count? It's not my fault that whomever was supposed to add it to the release didn't.
