I understand MX is more than likely doing most of what we're familiar with but are you saying MX has a problem with an FO that threw another pilot under the bus and is marking up planes over it? That makes sense.

Do you even if know if the "rat" is on this forum? If you think it's appropriate info to put out here why don't you enlighten all pilots with a blast email? You know, so the entire pilot group can be aware of this individual. Or is that not "subtle" enough?

Bottom line is there are better ways/places to handle this.

Are you guys really complaining about someone who notified the CP about a possible alcohol issue? Sure, I agree different steps could and probably should have been taken, but this thread is really starting to make our pilot group look like a frat house.

junior CA on last award was 7/30/15 hire date.
junior CA awards went mostly to SEA a few LAX
they were in the low 500s seniority with about 840 total on the list
but things went lower in the previous bid so no telling what next one will be.

word is CA upgrades will continue at 8-12 per month.

here is the approx time line for things if you want to get on with CP.

-send in app, heard same day to set up phone interview
-interviewed 2 weeks later
-offered class that was 8 weeks out.
-start of class to IOE about 2 months
